With my technical and analytic skills, I really enjoy supporting the financial planners at Piercefield Oliver, helping to create tailored recommendations to meet clients’ individual goals. This very often involves in-depth research and cashflow modelling to evaluate a client’s finances and present very complex information in an easily digestible manner. Part of our ethos here is to make financial planning accessible to more people and to help people obtain a better understanding of the importance of planning ahead, and I believe my role and how I present the information is invaluable to this.  Our clients are often with us for many years and they become part of our wider family, achieving the best outcomes for them is hugely rewarding.

Spending lots of time analysing numbers and forecasts is a sharp contrast to how I like to spend my downtime. As well as spending time with my young family, I am a golf fanatic. Perhaps a little more analysis is needed to help improve my swing – although I did hit my first hole-in-one after 27 years of trying recently.  I really enjoy playing football locally too and have a huge love of food and cooking which helps me relax.
